Fiorella Chau.

FIORELLA CHAU

Fiorella Chau was born in Lima, Peru, and is currently in her second semester of the major in Liberal Arts at KCC.

“I started studying Liberal Arts because I really like the design. I dream of being able to work in the fashion industry and create my own couture designs…My inspiration when talking about fashion is American designer Vera Wang,” Chau said. “I like that her designs are exclusive and that celebrities order her wedding dresses.”

Cyrus Neville.

CYRUS NEVILLE

Cyrus Neville is in his second semester. Currently majoring in Liberal Arts, Neville intends to transfer to UH Mānoa, where he plans on getting his bachelor’s degree in Botany.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, he felt drawn to come to Hawai‘i by his faith. “I just felt like God wanted me to come out here so I came,” he said.

Brittney Finley.

BRITTNEY FINLEY

Brittney Finley is an occupational therapist assistant major. She was inspired to go into this field to help people after her mother, Christy, had a stroke in 2012.

Now, Finley helps her mother clean, cook, get dressed, and paint her nails. She believes that the hard experience she went through with her mother made her choose her specialization and feels that her purpose in life is to help people who are going through those circumstances. “It is nice to see her smile when I help her like that,” she said.
